WHY YOULL LOVE THIS JOB:

You will have the opportunity to help advance the Revenue Management teams application and governance of data and advanced analytics, participate in projects related to applying statistical and machine learning models to solve current business needs, and generate complex data pulls and create innovative reports and data visualizations. The team supports and collaborates with multiple departments within the company on business intelligence, analytics, and performance metrics.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Build and maintain robust, reusable reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that provide actionable insights for Pricing and Yield Management teams
• Influence the direction of Revenue Management through data analysis, reports, process improvement, and competitive analysis
• Develop, enhance, and maintain tools that can improve decision-making processes and enhance self-service analytics
• Write efficient SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large, multi-source data sets for actionable insights
• Design and present on data mining and big data-oriented solutions for current business needs, analyzing both internal and external options and pursuing those with the most potential
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and contribute to innovation projects, including early-stage Gen AI applications
• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, clarify scope, and deliver solutions that are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs
• Promote initiatives within the organization that increase transparency and visibility of existing reports and data sources
• Actively participate in documentation efforts to organize and maintain updated data definitions and report specifications within the organization
• Production support, including maintenance to existing reports, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues

ALL YOULL NEED FOR SUCCESS:

Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or a data-driven role
• Experience working with cloud data platforms

Preferred Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience:

• Previous experience within airline, travel, e-commerce, or a related field
• Experience using dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI with live complex data sources
• Experience with workflow automation
• Exposure to AI and emerging technologies, with experience building or deploying GenAI tools
• Flexible and capable of working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools for advanced data analytics and reporting
• Ability to work with complex, multi-source data sets to translate and deliver actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with scripting languages to assist with automation and advanced analytics
• Maintains continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation
